What is a zine project?
A zine is an anthology of works by various creators based on a central theme or topic.What is the focus of this zine?
Ex Umbra will focus on a Mafia AU setting with the characters of Genshin Impact being the focal point.What is the content rating of this zine?
Ex Umbra will be rated as 16 and up, due to the nature of our theme and/or topic.Will ships be allowed in the zine?
Ex Umbra will be a project that does not feature romantic ships. We are open to platonic ships, or friendships, being displayed in pieces.Will only in-game characters be featured in the zine?
Ex Umbra will allow any characters seen/released in official media. This can include the video game as well as official webcomic.Are there any character(s) that will NOT be featured in the zine?
Due to the nature of the content in our project, the moderator team has decided we will not be featuring any young child characters (ex: Klee, Qiqi, Diona, Sayu, etc.).Will this zine only be focusing on mafia, or are other types of crime organizations allowed?
Ex Umbra will be open to other forms of organized crime, mafia is simply a general umbrella term for the sake of our project.Will this zine be for-profit or for-charity?
Our zine will be a for-profit project!What is the age requirements for contributors?
We are asking all contributors be 16 years of age or older when applying to our project.What types of contributors will you be accepting? How many contributors will you be accepting?
Ex Umbra will be accepting page artists, merch artists, spot artists, and writers.We will be accepting 30 page artists, 7 merch artists, 5 spot artists, and 10 writers. Please note that these numbers may chance due to application turn out.Will contributors be compensated?
All contributors will be guaranteed a digital version of the zine, with any digital merchandise. Our goal is to be able to send every contributor a complete full bundle, including a physical zine and all merchandise, if sales allow.
